Customer Ratings and Reviews
Not Green, 29 April 2011
First of all, these are packaged in a really, really annoying way. They're all loose bananas in a paper bag. We hang our bananas on one of those banana holders, so I couldn't do that with this...it's not in a bunch and connected. Second, I always buy green bananas so that they last through an entire week. These were already yellow when they arrived, and smelled ripe.
Lots o' bananas, 26 April 2009
By Richard Krueger
We received 18 green bananas in a brown paper bag when we ordered this in April 2009. It's a standard size paper bag, which they fill up, so the exact number of bananas might vary (I don't know whether they fill by volume, weight or count).
Bananas were of various sizes, about a third were baby sized, a third were normal sized, and the rest sized somewhere between. All were individual bananas -- no bunches. The bananas began turning yellow right away (but not all at once), so this is a great choice for a family going through bananas quickly (and you can even choose how big a banana to eat).
