About Skillet
In 2007, Chef Josh Henderson created Skillet Street Food in Seattle, one of the first experiences in the national movement that has swept the country. Out of a vintage Airstream trailer, he developed innovative lunch menus based on American-inspired food prepared with classic technique and seasonal ingredients. The reception from the Pacific Northwest and beyond was immediate and passionate. Today, Skillet Street Food still creates great menus served on the streets, but Skillet has become much more: a thriving catering enterprise; an award winning, nationally recognized, brick- and-mortar restaurant; an anchor at the newly renovated Seattle Center Armory, and a food products business distributing its signature Bacon Jam product through retailers across the US and Canada.
Skillet's great food and innovative experience have been recognized locally and nationally in publications such as Travel + Leisure, Sunset Magazine, Real Simple, Martha Stewart, The New York Times, CNN, Seattle Metropolitan, Seattle Magazine, The Seattle Times and many other print and broadcast stories and reviews.
